We partner with the City of Newburyport to bring you this event that marks the official start to Pride in Newburyport. The mayor’s proclamation, music from Soundbridge Union, poetry from Newburyport’s youth, keynote speaker Mason Dunn (LGBTQ+ rights educator and advocate), and a rousing call to action from Madam Zapple.
nbpt Pride: Parade & Festival

Hundreds of people will take to the streets of downtown Newburyport to show their PRIDE! Whether you are marching in the parade or cheering us on from the sidewalk, do not miss this signature event featuring performers, community groups, and more! Hosted by the Queen of Newburyport Pride, Madam Zapple!
Check-in for parade participants begins at 11 am at the Courthouse at Bartlett Mall (145 High St). The parade kicks off at noon. St. Paul’s Church (166 High St) welcomes all participants to a brief service of Pride prayer and parade blessing at 10.30 am.

Doors Open: Come early! Doors open at 5, we'll begin at 5:30! Grab a glass of wine and some food before we start!
Ticket purchase is for show admission. No purchase necessary to participate in 'bingo.' 'Bingo' games are optional and FREE to play. Free Bingo Cards will be given out upon entry, and additional cards are not tied to ticket purchases.

Your bingo ticket includes entry to the drag show plus 5 bingo sheets. Bring your pups, your friends, your dollar bills, and get ready to yell “YASSS! BINGO!” A portion of bingo ticket sales will be donated to The Trevor Project.
